intense debate

Well, guess what? :-)

When we tried to reimport the comments from the Intense Debate test, it didn’t work.

So I decided to turn them off for the time being until we could talk with the folks over there and see what was going on.

They may come back, but they may not.

It’s in the works as I type and should be all done by the time you read this tomorrow. Intense Debate comments will allow threading, voting and all sorts of other cool stuff that should make the conversations on here much more engaging.

But this is a testing period, so if you have any concerns or questions, please drop us a line and we’ll try to figure it all out.

In an effort to make the conversations around here more interesting, easier to follow, etc., we’ll be testing Intense Debate commenting this coming Tuesday.

We chose them instead of Disqus because, well, I don’t think Disqus is very good.

At least not in my experiences with it. And If you’ve ever tried to follow a Disqus conversation where certain comments have been vote up because people like it, you know how completely confusing it can be.
