Obama And McCain On Coal

Donklephant  Mon, 11/03/2008 - 8:49am

Repubs are hammering Obama on his coal comments and falsely accusing the San Francisco Chronicle of burying the interview even though they’ve had it available on their website since the interview took place.

In fact, here’s the complete video of the interview…

Count on it.

Quote Of The Day

Donklephant  Thu, 09/04/2008 - 8:42pm

“Everything is f**king spin.”
- John McCain talking about the Bush White House in Bob Woodward’s new book.

Now that is the type of stuff I wish I heard publicly from McCain.

Because if he spoke out like this more often (maybe not as harshly) he’d probably lose some of the base, but how many independents would he attract?

I think a solid majority of them.

Rasmussen: Obama Leads By 4

Donklephant  Fri, 06/27/2008 - 10:06am

Obama - 49%
McCain - 45%

Three straight days with the exact same result.

However, if you don’t include leaners, Obama leads by 7, and he was leading by 5 yesterday. So I’m going to start including numbers with and without leaners next week.

Quinnipiac: Obama Leads By 6 In Ohio

Donklephant  Wed, 06/18/2008 - 8:12am

Obama - 48%
McCain - 42%

Just yesterday, Public Policy Polling released a poll that found Obama leading by 11%.

Personally, I’m going to trust Quinnipiac’s numbers for the time being.

Poll: Obama Up By 10 In North Carolina

Donklephant  Mon, 04/28/2008 - 5:06pm

American Research Group shows the race tightening by one point since last week.

April 14 - 15
Obama - 52%
Clinton - 41%

April 26 - 27
Obama - 52%
Clinton - 42%

Here’s how those numbers break…

Register Dems - 83% of voters
Obama - 51%
Clinton - 43%

Unaffiliated - 17% of voters
Obama - 58%
Clinton - 35%

So yet another poll shows Obama leading among independents by a hefty margin.
