Spoon will play March 17 at Stubb's

Can’t wait one more week to hear the hotly anticipated new Spoon album “Transference”? Fortunately, NPR has your back, as they’re streaming the album in its entirety online in the week leading up to its release Tuesday, Jan. 19.

NPR and South by Southwest also announced today that the band will headline Stubb’s on the opening night of SXSW (March 17).

Schooool’s…Out! For! Summer!!! Well, except for finals.

Still, a monumental way to kick off this season is with summer sangria and a DJ set at San Jose, followed by the Memphis-rockers, Lucero, and Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears (pictured) show at Emo’s.

They play the outside stage tonight starting at 10pm. Lucero has some new stuff, too, from their new Rebels, Rogues, & Sworn Brothers, and they will be also be celebrating their new “major label” debut.
