Hillary Appointment Brings Obama Back To The Future

Donklephant  Mon, 12/01/2008 - 1:25pm

I posted about this around the time we heard whispers about Hillary becoming Secretary of State, but I can’t help but post it again…

When Did Obama Pick Hillary For SoS?

Some think it was back in December ‘07.

McCain Goes After Hillary Voters With Latest Ad

Are you a Hillary supporter who’s furious that Obama picked an old white guy for his Veep instead of the former First Lady?

Then this ad is for you…

Politico Claims Hillary Was Never Vetted?

Donklephant  Fri, 08/22/2008 - 1:33pm

The title of the article is “Hillary gets stiffed,” but who’s really getting stiffed here?

Hillary or the readers of Politico?

See, they “report” that an unnamed Democratic insider claims that Clinton was never asked for one single piece of paper from the VP vetting team.

Therefore, it’s assumed she was never on Obama’s short list.

Bill, Not Hillary, Greenlit Infamous “3 a.m. Ad”

More evidence of what many suspected a Hillary presidency would bring with it: Bill Clinton 2.0.

Unity Between Obama And Clinton?

Donklephant  Sat, 06/28/2008 - 12:23am

It seems like.

First her speech…which was gracious, kind and exactly what Obama needed…

Then his speech…which was deferential, magnanimous and exactly what Hillary needed…

So what now?

The negotiations of course!

Rasmussen: Obama Leads McCain By 4

Donklephant  Mon, 06/16/2008 - 10:19am

Obama - 48%
McCain - 44%

Obama lost 1 and McCain gained 1, and I think we’re starting to see the post-Hillary bounce subside a bit for Obama.

Of note, this is the first time in 7 days, Obama has slipped below 49%.

The 5 day:
06/16/2008: McCain - 44%, Obama - 48%
06/15/2008: McCain - 43%, Obama - 49%
06/14/2008: McCain - 43%, Obama - 49%
06/13/2008: McCain - 44%, Obama - 49%
06/12/2008: McCain - 44%, Obama - 50%

So how are the candidates perceived by the voters?

More evidence that the Dem base is starting to solidify?

Before Hillary’s exit, the numbers looked like this…

Now they look like this…

Remembering Bill Clinton’s Primary Highs And Lows

Donklephant  Sun, 06/08/2008 - 5:10pm

MTP puts together some clips and makes the strongest case yet for why Hillary shouldn’t get the VP slot…and it has little to do with her own skills.

Why Did Hillary Suspend?

Donklephant  Sun, 06/08/2008 - 1:33pm

Basically, she couldn’t hold off her fellow Democrats any longer.

Now then…what’s the next chapter?
