Help honor those who broke through barriers for women.

The McCombs School of Business will induct three prominent business leaders into its Hall of Fame at a ceremony and celebration at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center Nov. 12.

The honorees are John W. Carpenter III, Gary Kusin and Corbin J. Robertson Jr., all alumni of The University of Texas at Austin.

Hall of Fame baseball legend Ernie Banks talks with Steve Inskeep about his life in the sport. Banks says he remembers nearly every moment of his great career — the sights, the sounds, the feelings — but adds that he's still looking to do "something worthwhile" with his life.

Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, associate professor in the School of Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin, will be inducted into the National Association of Hispanic Journalists' (NAHJ) Hall of Fame next month.
