Honors Day cites students' academic achievement

The 60th Annual Honors Day celebration at The University of Texas at Austin on April 12 will honor the academic accomplishments of 6,410 students during two ceremonies in Gregory Gymnasium.

Of the 2008 honorees, 4,997 students will be given the honorary title of College Scholar and 1,413 will be recognized as Distinguished College Scholars.
