It reads like a headline out of The Onion, but Nicaraguan troops really did raise their flag on land that Costa Rica claims as its own, thanks to a glitch in Google Maps.

Austin Criminal Defense Lawyer  Sat, 07/12/2008 - 9:00pm

…or “How To Not Get Arrested for DWI”

Background for the Post

Slideshow: Austin gets 3D on Google Earth

That Other Paper  Wed, 04/16/2008 - 10:28am

Some 3D modelers have been some busy bees lately — most of Austin’s downtown landscape has been converted into 3D photo-realistic models and placed inside Google Earth.

We’re starting to have a nice little virtual tour of the city on our hands — thanks Google. If you’re not familiar with Google Earth, it will totally blow your mind.
