Felice House seems to know the entire local art community, which made her the perfect tour guide.
While walking through the bazaar and greeting many artists by name, she provided tidbits about each artist - Tonya Engel painted the mural on E. 11th, Chris Levack made the sculptures at Mueller, Victoria Corbett was her studio mate, Amy Barber made the purse she was carrying.

Several interesting new exhibits and art happenings this week:
Faith Gay & Raymond Uhlir Faith Gay gathers and reconfigures tape, stickers, colored paper and ribbon to make vivid, intricate, whimsical collages.
Raymond Uhlir’s paintings may depict personal mythological vignettes, but their flattened, cartoon style screams alt comic book.

Each year there seem to be more craft fairs and art bazaars offering their locally, handmade goodness as an alternative to the mall shopping scene.
