BBQ lovers get ready, Texas Monthly’s BBQ Festival tickets are officially on sale today.

On October 31st, Texas’ premier BBQ joints from Austin and beyond will gather at the Long Center for a full afternoon of finger licking goodness.

Thankfully the wise event planners have chosen a date when the temps should be a little cooler so the heat will not deter hot smoked meat eating.

Rick Trevino, Dale Watson and the Derailers- three country acts with newish albums- will ring in the new year at the North Austin Events Center at 10601 North Lamar.

Tickets are $40 general admission or $50 reserved seating in advance and include a food buffet. They’ve available at www.frontgatetickets.com.
