Gas prices fell for their 10th straight day, dropping almost 19 cents during the period, according to a nationwide survey of credit card swipes at gas stations.



 

Sunmart gas stations under investigation for pump violations

Sunmart gas stations around Texas cheated drivers by providing less gas than what customers paid for, according to the Texas Department of Agriculture.

After a three-day investigation, which ended July 20, the department concluded that 990 of 1,704 pumps were found to be non-compliant at 47 stations across Texas.

Google to Install Maps at Gas Stations

Internet search leader Google will install its maps feature at some gas stations next month.

About 3,500 gas pumps will be fitted with an Internet connection and a small color screen. You can type in where you want to go, and the pump will display a map.

It will even print directions for you.
