Today is the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual food drive.

That means you can donate to your local food bank just by sticking a few edible odds and ends into a bag and putting them out by your mailbox.

Its a great way to get rid of that commercially packaged fruitcake and that dusty old can of beets. Just make sure you beat the mailman to the mailbox.
