Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke delivered a speech Friday at the annual economic symposium hosted by the Kansas City Federal Reserve in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Bernanke didn't outline any big rescue plans, but he did say the fed has tools it can use if necessary.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke gave a speech in Germany Friday defending the Fed's recent move to buy $600 billion in Treasury bonds.

The move is called quantitative easing -- the idea is to stimulate growth in an economy that Bernanke says is still at risk.
