Chamberlain's attorneys filed a motion with the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Thursday to delay his execution.

A main focus of his talk being the media's coverage of the war, he spent more than 10 minutes criticizing the April 3 Daily Texan story "Young vets recount deployments," which was the second in a series about students who have served or are serving in Iraq.

Journalist Dahr Jamail, who worked for eight months as an unembedded journalist in Iraq, spoke to a packed auditorium Thursday night in the Jackson Geological Sciences Building.
