Thursday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m., Jessen Auditorium, 21st and Whitis. Isaiah Sheffer of "Selected Shorts," heard on public radio stations across America, hosts "Edgar Allan Poe: Poet and Storyteller." The program, held in conjunction with the Ransom Center's exhibition "From Out That Shadow: The Life and Legacy of Edgar Allan Poe," features actors Rene Auberjonois and Fionnula Flanagan.

The Harry Ransom Center, a humanities research library and museum at The University of Texas at Austin, has introduced the Edgar Allan Poe digital collection, an archive of 4,000 images of more than 200 materials.
