76 Vassar hopefuls wrongly told they were accepted

Dozens of applicants to Vassar College were mistakenly told they had gotten into the school when they checked a website that had been set up for students applying for early decisions.

The Poughkeepsie, N.Y., school says 76 students logged onto the site after 4 p.

Austin building destroyed, dozens of roads closed due to storms

Strong storms rolled into the Austin area overnight -- flooding streets, pulling down  trees and power lines and forcing several schools to close.

Straight line winds caused damage in the Hwy 290 and Springdale Drive area.   Trees were uprooted and fell into at least one fence.

Company To Close Dozens Of Sears, Kmart Stores

At least one person was killed. Dozens of homes were destroyed.
