No Place To Call Home For Many Female Veterans

In the past decade, the number of female vets who have become homeless has nearly doubled to roughly 6,500, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Most of them are younger than 35. But many are not turning to the VA for help, including Cherish Cornish, who found temporary housing from a nonprofit in Brockton, Mass.
