Seriously, how is McCain going to win this?

He’s behind Obama in every single important metric except for two in that poll, and he only leads by small single digits in those.

Clinton to Concede (mostly)

AP is reporting that, this evening, Hillary Clinton will concede that Barack Obama has enough delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, effectively ending her campaign.

Reports are she will not formally suspend her camapign but this is clearly the first step to her bowing out as gracefully as is possible at this stage of the contest.

Now we see if the party can come together.

I think it probably will.

I guess I was wrong before about 20 superdelegates.

Looks like he needs 30 to 35 delegates to tie this thing up.

That doesn’t seem doable at this point.

I’d be surprised if it happened.

That’s apparently what he said a couple days ago…

I think this will be the likely outcome today.

And frankly, I don’t see any other way it can happen without tearing the party apart.
