As part of the Cesar Chavez Two-way Conversion Project, Cesar Chavez Street from east of San Antonio Street to west of Congress Avenue will close 6 a.m.

- 8 p.m. August 2 - 3.

As part of the Cesar Chavez Two-way Conversion Project, the street will close east of San Antonio Street to east of Lavaca Street 7 a.m.

- 6 p.m. June 29.

Sections of West Cesar Chavez Street were closed Saturday and Sunday as part of the long-winded $7 million Cesar Chavez Two-Way Conversion Project, causing traffic to be rerouted.

This was the first of three upcoming weekend closures for the street.

Temporary closure enabled the City to work on the Cesar Chavez Two-Way Conversion Project; trail re-opens April 11.
