Royal Confusion Over Kate Middleton's Name

A Boston area woman set up a Facebook account with the same name of the bride in this week's royal wedding.

Facebook suspended her account for using a fake name. The trouble is, the woman in Concord really is named Kate Middleton.

It took her a week to recover her online identity.

Calif. Prison Early-Release Program Stirs Controversy

A California law requiring the state to use early release to thin its prison population is causing controversy and confusion.

One released prisoner was arrested for attempted rape, and many county sheriffs let people go free — even though the law doesn't affect them.

I've used "Austin Contrarian" as both the name of this blog and my nom de plume since I began blogging almost two years ago.  I've never been after anonymity; anyone could have clicked on the "about me" link at any time and seen that this blog was written by Chris Bradford. 

No, it has always been a Google issue.  I'm in an adversarial business, and there are plenty of lawyers who Google their opposite.  Why, I thought, should I make it easier for them?
