The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin and the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas (CAFB) are presenting a special screening of "DIVE!," a documentary by Jeremy Seifert, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and others on Thursday, Sept. 15, 6:30 p.m. in The Blanton Auditorium.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a healthy canned good for admission to the event.

Community Movie Night Under the Stars in December was so much fun that we decided to do it again, so bring the family and join your neighbors for a FREE outdoor movie night featuring Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic, E.T.

Complimentary hot chocolate and lemonade from Genuine Joe’s, free popcorn and Reese’s Pieces (in honor of our favorite Extra-Terrestrial) will be served.

You are welcome to bring your own snacks too. Lawn chairs and blankets are also encouraged.

Del Castillo, the Mother Truckers, Shurman, Suzanna Choffel, The Little Elmore Reed Blues Band (with Mike Keller of The Fabulous Thunderbirds on guitar), Austin Collins, Vitera, Stonehoney: This is some lineup for a free show (with canned good donation) to benefit one of Austin’s most wonderful charities, the Capital Area Food Bank.

The concert is Sunday March 14 from 2pm-10pm at the United States Art Authority (next to Spiderhouse).
