Food activist and author (“The Omnivore’s Dilemma,” “In Defense of Food”) Michael Pollan is scheduled to speak at the Bass Concert Hall at the University of Texas in December.

My kids absolutely love Mo Willems.  It started with us checking out Knuffle Bunny and hogging that one copy from the library before we finally bought one.

 Then it was onto the Pigeon Series.  Mr. Willems will be at Book People, Thursday February 18, 2010 at 6 pm.
