bomb threat

Police have arrested a man they say called in a bomb threat to the public radio station KLRU last week.

According to the arrest affidavit, Marshall David Logan, 60, is charged with false alarm of report, a state jail felony.

Police say Logan called 311 last Thursday and said a bomb was at the KLRU studio at the University of Texas campus.

A woman in Santiago, Chile, was distraught that her man was going away. He boarded a plane bound for Spain for a job as a cruise ship waiter.

Grace Guajardo says she couldn't stand to see him leave, so she phoned in a bomb threat that forced everybody off.

He decided not to get back on the plane.

AP - Swedish police on Saturday detained a man who had been aboard a plane from Canada to Pakistan that made an emergency landing in Stockholm after Canadian authorities received a tip that a passenger was carrying explosives.

A bomb threat was called into the Texas Capitol grounds sometime around 7 AM this morning. (via LoneStarters)

Texas Tribune reports that the state Capitol is being evacuated after a bomb threat was received.

KEYE adds via Twitter that the Capitol District Office at 15th & Congress has also been evacuated.
