Sunday, Sept. 25, 1 p.m., Blanton Museum of Art. The Faulkner Plaza comes to life with games and music as the Blanton Museum of Art hosts its "Tailgate pARTy." Bring a lawn chair and wear your team colors.

Be inspired on a scavenger hunt through "Storied Past," the French drawings exhibition, and participate in a large-scale community work of art.

Director and filmmaker Richard Linklater and artist Mika Tajima contended that slackers aren’t apathetic or lazy, but are instead driven by a unique ideology that emphasizes enjoying life.

They discussed their views on slackers at a program presented Tuesday by the Blanton Museum of Art and the UT Visual Arts Center.

The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin and the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas (CAFB) are presenting a special screening of "DIVE!," a documentary by Jeremy Seifert, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and others on Thursday, Sept. 15, 6:30 p.m. in The Blanton Auditorium.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a healthy canned good for admission to the event.
