Bus accident in Del Valle; 57 students on board

A car ran into a Del Valle School District bus Friday morning, sending 16 people to the hospital.

It happened at Ross Road and Pearce Lane, southeast of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport shortly after 8 a.m.

According to authorities on the scene, 55 people were involved including 52 in the bus.
