We know that many of you will be spending the weekend at Auditorium Shores for the annual Fun Fun Fun fest, but if you aren't going to be rocking out in a park for the next few days there is plenty to see on area screens.

The city council agreed today to give Fun Fun Fun Fest an extra day at Auditorium Shores.

We're sure that this means a ton of extra meat chaps (the serious tough guy kind), courtroom dramas starring scorpions, and lots more cool people bathing in the lake, instead of the usual crappy people bathing in the lake.

In advance of its sixth year, Transmission Entertainment's Fun Fun Fun Fest has announced a big move away from Waterloo Park and into the larger digs afforded by Auditorium Shores.

This year's festival will take place the weekend of November 5th and 6th, with a kick-off show scheduled for the fourth.

As befits the ambitious move, the festival itself will grow in scope.

Central Texas' signature music and camping event featuring Grammy-winning Americana music held at the beautiful Salt Lick BBQ Pavilion and spacious Camp Ben McCulloch just 10 minutes from Austin, Texas.

Family friendly and fun -- featuring bluegrass, roots, country, folk, and much, much more. 15,000 attendees expected.
