Austin parents of students who will be in kindergarten and first grade next fall (the 2010-2011 school year) — and their children — are invited to attend a Dual Language orientation session at one of the four AISD schools that will offer the new program.

The sessions will include tours of the campuses.

Stephen F. Austin High School presents Seussical Featuring the Art, Band, Choral, Dance, Orchestra, and Theatre students of AISD, July 9-11.

The show is centered on the works of Dr. Seuss, and carries on his theme of anything is possible. Director of Fine Arts for AISD, Greg Goodman, hopes to develop the AISD summer musical project as an annual event for the Austin community.
