British Airways Cutting Costs

Britain's major carrier reported a record annual loss last month. As part of a broad cost-cutting effort, the airline is asking staff to work for free.

British Airways CEO and his chief financial officer both say they'll work without pay for the month of July.

Airlines Consider Charging More For Bags

Airline analyst David Field says that, even though airlines are expecting fewer passengers, airports are still bound to be crowded this summer and flights jammed.

He says airlines are considering whether to charge more to pay for checking luggage at the airport, as opposed to paying in advance online.
