Salesforce bucks trend for Q3; shares rising.

At a time when companies are issuing warnings about missing earnings targets and scaling back expectations, enterprise cloud computing company salesforce.com seems to be bucking the trend.

After the bell, Salesforce.com reported income of $10.1 million, or 8 cents per share, on revenue of $276.5 million for the third quarter, which ended on Oct. 31.



 

Sprint: Subscribers continue to bolt

Sprint continues to lose customers to other carriers as the company reported a third quarter subscriber tally of 50.5 million, down from 54 million a year ago.

The company lost 1.3 million wireless customers on a net basis in the third quarter including 1.1 million post-paid.

Juniper beats for Q3

 Juniper Networks beat Wall Street estimates for the third quarter, reporting earnings of $148.5 million, or 27 cents per share, up from $85.1 million, or 15 cents per share, for the same quarter last year.

(statement) Adjusted profit was 32 cents.
