Funeral held for Kyle woman missing for 7 years

A Kyle family finally laid to rest a loved one who disappeared in a rushing river seven years ago.

24-year-old Laurie Ann Pineda was remembered by family and friends at the St.

Anthony Catholic Church in Kyle Tuesday morning.

Pineda went missing Nov, 14 2004 after she and her boyfriend Jason Schmidt tried to cross a low water crossing.
