At some point, I sure would like to see along with other neighborhood
issues (sidewalks, Highland Mall plans) - a concerted effort - to get
more of our neighbors involved, AND - with more people - focus on
cleaning up our neighborhood: putting pressure on property owners to
keep the property maintained, clean, putting pressure on property owners
to rent to responsible, considerate people (letting them know that we
will call them when their neighbors disturb us by noise, tras

I think it has been pointed out before, but this is a pretty good
escalation path:

- Establish a relationship as early as possible with your new
neighbors. Once a relationship has been established, people are
somewhat less likely to become a nuisance. If you do have a
relationship, then it becomes a little easier to mention your concerns
to them.
- Failing that, escalate to the management company. Lee Properties and
Uptown Realty are active in our area.
