Check out the Statesman today - an article about protesting - a licensed
real estate agent "unsuccessful".

[nndl] One citizen acts: PROPERTY TAX PROTEST in TRAVIS COUNTY

So distressed by the unrelieved property taxes here, Kay took the time and huge effort to formulate, and get sponsorship for a "curcuit breaker" bill to be considered by this legislature.  Lots of hard work. Whether it passes this time or not, her effort can be lauded, and who knows perhaps it will start a movement for the next meeting of the legislature.
