It is proper, appropriate, and essential that we relay, as soon as
possible, the results of our votes to City entities that rely on the
input of the NAs when considering cases before them. It is
appropriate, proper and essential that the NA relay this information in
an official manner: a letter, on letterhead, signed by the president or
his/her representative and sent by mail (US mail), hand carried or
faxed.

I, too, do not understand why a letter was not generated to the city stating the position that the neighborhood association took when asked to vote. Regardless of the particular outcome, the city should have been given a formal document stating what happened.
