[nndl] RE: [NNADL] Howard's vandalism

Oy. That Howard's property in its current condition is a real problem
for our neighborhood.

[nndl] Re: [NNADL] FW: [Skyview] FOUND dog (help)

Take her to the Humane Society on Anderson Lane - north on I35 Service
Road, left on the service road of 183 North - stay in the right hand
lane - a couple of blocks up.

RE: [NNADL] [nndl] what list to keep?

I am up for a lot of these ideas, but in the short term can we merge the two
e-mail lists into one? How about keeping the nnadl and merging the nndl into
it? The duplicates are killing me.

Yeah, a Yahoo group! Even better. It could be linked on the NA webpage.

Re: [nndl] what list to keep?

My 2c...

Yes, Skyview has our own list, but we do rely on a lot of the
valuable info that goes out on NNDL/NNADL to keep us updated on
what's going on around us that we might not have otherwise learned.
And those of us in Skyview that are on NNDL/NNADL also occasionally
manage to pass on useful community info, as well. I know there are
also a few NNDL folks on the Skyview list for the same reason.

Shared info, stronger community.

[nndl] one more thought

I'd personally like to thank all those neighbors on both lists who
have taken time to thoughtfully and kindly express opinions and post
information to help everyone come to their own conclusions on this
project. Many people have posted respectful, yet differing opinions
that have been helpful and reasonable. This has been a difficult
issue to find a place on and I've appreciated a lot of the input.

For the record (for what it's worth), I've come to the conclusion,

RE: [nndl] RE: [NNADL] The Apartment Monster

I can't imagine anything worse than that site being developed without any
retail. One would hope that the retail will serve daily needs, but no
retail will ensure that the best chance for having it is gone for good.

Re: [nndl] RE: [NNADL] The Apartment Monster

Nowhere is it written in stone that we will have 200+ units at all. . . The developers would like us to believe that, but it is only one of many possible scenarios.

[nndl] RE: [NNADL] The Apartment Monster

Yes Howard's was retail. But it didn't have 200+ residents above it. We now
have a choice to make:
- 200+ units PLUS retail
- OR 200+ units WITHOUT retail.
I don't think anyone will forget that retail (Howard's) was in there before.

[nndl] joining nnAdl

Hope this helps (see below).

The "official" Northfield NA discussion list is nnAdl:
http://www.northfieldna.org/discussion.html

nnadl is for Northfield-specific issues, such as the Howard's redevelopment.

nndl is used by Northfield, Ridgetop, and Skyview
