[nndl] Laura Morrison Yard Signs

And while I'm talking about yard signs, Laura Morrison sent me 5 yard
signs to share with neighbors -- if anybody wants one, give me your
address, and I'll come stick it in your yard.

Cheers.

[nndl] Missing Bamboo

Hi Neighbors,

If anyone comes home and finds a beautiful bamboo plant missing from
their garden, email me because I probably saw who took it.

[nndl] Mace

Monty, I agree with you completely.  Nothing is more important than protecting loved ones from harm.  I also try to watch out for my neighbors.

[nndl] BOA application for Endeavor

I had a good conversation with Jamil Alam about the BOA application for
the Howard's property. He confirmed that indeed he no longer has a
contract on the Howard property, and he is not at all interested in
pursuing a variance from the BOA without a letter of support from the
neighborhood.

In this conversation, he told me that he has gotten very mixed messages
from individuals in this neighborhood about the desire for mixed use,

[nndl] Painting Pro

I know this has probably been discussed many times
before, but I was wondering who my neighbors would
recommend to prep exterior surfaces before painting.
I think I can do the painting myself, but the prep
work is another story. I really want someone
reasonably priced, but conscientious and particularly
familiar with the issue of lead.

Thanks, Neighbors!

Re: [nndl] Re: [NNADL] After Endeavor

Lisa,

A lot of the hurt feelings that have come out of this seem to be from
this dynamic.

People who have been involved for a long time in the NA feeling like
their hard work is not respected because
other people, like myself, disagree with them.

So much attention has been spent on these opposite sides that I
sometimes wonder if there was a shift to focusing on that rift and
thinking less of the project as a whole, how it would effect the

Re: [nndl] Re: [NNADL] Endeavor has dropped the project

Dear Everyone,

Do we all think it is possible to tell someone who they can sell their property
to? Interesting concept.

I am responding to Ms. Horton's statement that "I don't think being in the
neighborhood for any length of time entitles anyone to sell their property for
any purpose. If your next door neighbor had lived there for 60 years and wanted
to sell his home to a developer to build a super 2 would this same argument
apply?"
