[nndl] Car Burglarized on NE corner Chesterfield/Nelray

I live at 212 Nelray Blvd and last night my roommate's car was burglarized.  She said she went to get something out of her car at around 10:15pm and left the doors unlocked.  In the morning when leaving for work at 6:45a.m.

[nndl] Vote Today!

Just writing to remind everyone about the highly important City Council
runoff election TODAY between Laura Morrison and Cid Galindo.  They
could not be more different:  one a neighborhood advocate (Morrison)
and the other a developer (Galindo).  Please vote today!

[nndl] Re: shipe pool still closed

From another list.... I had heard that Shipe pool (the closest one to our
neighborhood) was still empty after scheduled time.
Here is an explanation from another list

[nndl] Post Howards Reconciliation

Hi Neighbors,

To this point, I have intentionally stayed out of this issue--- mostly because I could see both the awful and the wonderful in the now-withdrawn proposal to redevelop Howards'.

But I do care enough about our neighborhood and our larger democracy to say this:  Dissent Is A Good Thing.

RE: [nndl] Re: [NNADL] Which NA?

Come on people, isn't anyone willing to reach out an olive branch and find
some common ground? The very things you are complaining about HPNA are
happening on this list serve and in this neighborhood. For whatever reason
I feel disengaged by our NA as well, partly because I feel like a dissenting
opinion to the NA is not welcome (particularly on the howards issue) and
partly because I was never at the meetings (my fault entirely). Most of my

Am I the only one getting tired of the perpetuation of these passive

Re: [nndl] Re: [NNADL] Endeavor has dropped the project

Dear Everyone,

Do we all think it is possible to tell someone who they can sell their property
to? Interesting concept.

I am responding to Ms. Horton's statement that "I don't think being in the
neighborhood for any length of time entitles anyone to sell their property for
any purpose. If your next door neighbor had lived there for 60 years and wanted
to sell his home to a developer to build a super 2 would this same argument
apply?"

[nndl] Re: [NNADL] inviting a speaker

You are right. A lot of people contributed to the Triangle discussion.
