[nndl] Helping in the fight against cancer

Many thanks to all of our friends.

Annie and I had a wonderful ride today with somewhere around 5,000 other
cyclists in the Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG ride.

[nndl] Oops! Annie is Diana

I'm so sorry for any confusion I caused -- a few people have told me
that they went to the link I sent --
http://austin09.livestrong.org/dervin -- to make a donation to the Lance
Armstrong Foundation, and thought they were in the wrong place because
the name there was Diana Ervin. That's my wife's real name -- she just
goes by Annie. If you prefer to donate at my site, go to
http://austin09.livestrong.org/swren.

[nndl] Helping in the fight against cancer

Greetings.

As many of you know, two years ago I was diagnosed with lymphoma.
During the most challenging parts of my treatments in August of 2007,
Annie and I set a goal that I would recover enough to ride with her on
the tandem in the annual Lance Armstrong Live Strong ride in October.
That year, the ride happened to fall on October 14th -- my 40th birthday
-- so it was a great way to mark the beginning of my life as a cancer
survivor.

Every year, we mark that ride as a benc

[nndl] I would appreciate your help

Greetings.

As many of you already know, last summer I was diagnosed with cancer --
indolent follicular lymphoma to be specific. My little skirmish with
this nasty disease was a bit rough at times (you can read about it on my
website: http://www.sebastianwren.com/cancer.html), but my prognosis now
is very good. I am extremely lucky.

Others, I can tell you from personal experience, are not so lucky.
