hangar

[nndl] Re: [nlnpt] strip centers

Good points, Patrick.

I am just so fascinated about all this discussion (like the ones about the
hangar) - about what "we" should do with the property at old Howard's and old
Parkers.

To my knowledge "we" have not purchased that property (just like we did not own
the hangar).

If/when Endeavor passes on the Howard/Parker property (I assume they will not go
through with buying the property at this point) the property will go back on the

[nndl] the hangar

The landmarks commission declined to designate the hangar historic on
the 24th. On the 25th, I called Skot Ingram to let him know, and we
began the process of trying to negotiate with Endeavor/the Howards to
take the hangar. For those not involved, that may seem like the 11th
hour, but in reality, we simply followed the process as it unfolded.

[nndl] [Fwd: Re: nlw - suggestions for web polls]

Hi Folks,

By unanimous vote, the winning nomination goes to the the sole entry
'save the hangar'. Lotte, thank you for your suggestion.

Having zero experience with creating/designing polls, dear communityzens
I have to turn to you again for help.

What questions should we ask?

Regards

RE: [nndl] Re: howards demolition

Another good piece of tongue-in-cheek writing from Patrick! My
administrative assistant worked at Howard's for a while and is convinced
that the corner with the hanger is a brown site, if not a candidate for the
superfund cleanup dollars.

A common sight in European cities is a plaque saying something like "On this
site once stood...." Maybe the new development at F and Koenig should
include a plaque and maybe some photographs. The hangar is an eyesore.
