Re: [nndl] MetroRail In The House?

Louis,

[nndl] Interesting - re: the Monster at 615 North Loop

Because I was informed yesterday by a man who told me he was a partner
in ownership of the Monster that he was living in the 615 B side of the
"duplex", I looked up the tax roll for the current appraisal and to see
if there are new owners. The owner is still listed as Flex Realty LP in
Houston (no names, of course). The 2008 appraisal - oh my gosh -

Land Value 270,000.00
Improvement Value 654,003.00
AG Value 0.00

Re: [nndl] one more thought

I too have decided that I am in favor of this variance.

Honestly, if we are going to get serious about the environment then
you have to approve mixed use development. The end result is less
car use and the carbon "footprint" for most mixed use developments
with a significant number of apartments/condos in a limited land
space is MUCH less than single family dwellings. I say "most mixed
use developments" because these developments have to be developed
