take action yourself.

Early voting for City Council starts tomorrow. Most people don't
realize this, but your vote for City Council is much more important than
your vote for President.

districts does affect our neighborhood in a very real sense. I am often
in contact with the City Council members over issues that affect our
neighborhood, and having a City Council member who just represents our
neighborhood would naturally have ramifications for our neighborhood.

Ultimately, however, I am opposed to single-member representation in

It suddenly occurred to me that you must be talking about Mike Dahmus,
who is really more of a sensible compact urban growth activist than a
bicycle activist. I've known Mike for many years, and, although a
curmudgeon from head to toe, he always has intelligent things to say
