I was wondering when those guys were finally going to be open. I've
been by there 3 times already looking for mulch, etc., and each time had
to sadly trek over to Home Depot instead.

All of transportation capacity planning in this country is done for
those 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon which are
referred to as rush hour.

Re: [nndl] CAMPO survey

Agreed, Kate - I too wanted to extend, explicate that response. So I did and leave it to them to sort out.  I put primary emphasis on sidewalks and bike lanes - then mass transportation, and way last building any more roads.  Thanks Lotte for getting us "rolling forward" on this. I did send it to the Ridgetop yahoo list as well.
Gratefully,

Re: [NNADL] [nndl] [Fwd: Re: Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program Update]

Speed bumps are ineffective, from my RNA perspective of 7 years of requesting and planning for traffic calming, per the approved n'hood plan.

We needed/need road closures for the 6 feeder road incursions, in order to protect our hood from access road traffic - the cars and definitely the trucks.  What we got was speed bumps. These I see vehicles take at their "normal speed".

Re: [nndl] The compassionate conservatives of Hyde Park strike again

I find this whole situation rather appalling, to be honest. Let's see. . . take a snippet of news out of context, make wild assumptions about peoples' motives without researching the actual facts of the case, and then encourage people to write letters to the government in protest. . .  and if you don't, that means you don't care about the children's safety! Give me a break.
And this isn't even in our neighborhood.
