First Day of DA Runoff Brings Out GOP Voters

According to an analysis of Monday’s early vote in the Travis County District Attorney’s Democratic runoff, 21.1 percent of those who cast ballots had a history of voting in previous Republican primaries.

If the trend continues, persistent rumors that one of the candidates is making a concerted effort to attract Republican support may be judged a success.
