Last year, it was beyond standing room only when Austin Chamber Music Center hooked up with Huston-Tillotson University choirs and other performers in a rousing performance of Duke Ellington’s ‘Sacred Concert.’ People filled the aisles and even stood out in the hall of HTU’s King Seabrook Chapel last year as the choirs, jazz orchestra, soloists and an accompanying tap dancer made Ellington’s oratorio mighty.
