Accounting For Federal Dollars Spent

Since the financial crisis began, Washington has spent billions of dollars of taxpayers money to help get the economy going again.

That spending has increased the federal debt. President Obama has announced his support for legislation that would make Congress pay for every new dollar of spending or tax cuts with an off-setting dollar of savings.
